Northwich to Nantwich
River Weaver, Trent & Mersey Canal and Shropshire Union Canal
Anderton Boat Lift

28th May - 3rd June 2023 (6 nights)

This trip will start from Northwich Quays on the River  Weaver where hopefully Ellis will have spent a couple of days with the luxury of shoreline

Total distance is 25 miles and 8 locks . There are 1 moveable bridge and 7 small aqueducts or under bridges.

Guests will arrive approximately 1.30pm on day one and after an introductory blah blah (and most probably glass of something fizzy) we’ll chug off to begin our adventure.

The aim will be to make it up as we go along  and should be able to have a nice leisurely trip with chance to go wandering in he the woods at Church Minsul.

Pubs on route include;  The Old Broken Cross, The Kings Lock, The Big Lock The Olde Barridge Inn, The Wilbraham Arms, The Black Lion and the Vine Inn.

NB – pub visits are NOT compulsory … just encouraged by Capt. Ellis.

At the end of the trip, we’ll have arrived in Nantwich  - hopefully moored near the aqueduct  and guests will depart following breakfast on the final morning.
