Capt. E. was ahead of the game this year... route planning in October 2025.   Following on from the extreme drought conditions which closed 400 miles of the network for months last season, I thought I'd play things a bit more safe (famous last words) in 2027 by mainly planning trips on areas of canals that have remained open... THEN look what happened - the Llangollen breached near Whitchurch!  Having abandoned  any hope  of the planned 2026 trips, I am reasonably confident it'll be repaired ready for 2027.
